Antique mahogany empire dresser is all solid and well built. With claw feet and 4 drawers. As you know mahogany is really red. To tone down all the red, we stripped then bleached to try to remove all of the red from the wood. Most came out, but not all. I stained everything in a dark chocolate. Sealed in a semi gloss poly. Added some aged brass knobs and metal wheeled castors. We repaired all dovetailed drawers which now open and close very well. Original locks and key holes, but no key. Inner and outer drawers are conditioned with scented furniture salve.
