Depression era 1938 dresser with mirror and matching single nightstand set. This looks like it was once restored and current finish is still in excellent condition. Bottom decor does have some missing pieces, but we did repair all loose pieces that could be saved. Stamped on back Bassett 1938, Blitz Furniture.
V matched oriental walnut veneer with lace wood veneer. Tudor design detailed bun feet, and all original hardware. The tops have triple layered trims that give you that extra height. Dresser features 3 drawers and beveled mirrors which are in excellent condition. Nightstand has 1 drawer with cabinet bottom that has a split shelf which is removable.
Everything was conditioned with scented wood salve along with the inner and outer drawers/cabinet. Rails and glides were oiled for a smooth opening and closing. We also added antique brass wheeled casters that I think adds to the vintage feel.
