Refinished vintage 1960s mid century modern dresser made by Kroehler Furniture. Dresser has nine drawers with the center drawers being the largest. We refinished in a custom mix stain that’s not too dark but not too light. I wanted those gorgeous wood grain patterns to be more visible. Mid and center drawers have a horizontal wood grain pattern and the top corner drawers have a vertical wood grain pattern. The design on this dresser has the four corner drawers set in. Modern antique brass fluted knobs were added to update the original look while keeping that vintage style. We also custom painted the brass tips on the legs to match the color on the knobs. Top coated the dresser in a semi gloss sealer.
Inner and outer drawers were conditioned with scented wood salve. Rails and glides were oiled for a smooth opening and closing.
