Mid Century Dresser and Nightstand Set in Dark Chocolate

Gorgeous modern vintage sophisticated look on this set! 

Vintage mid century dresser made by Kent Coffey in The Sceptre has 6 drawers.   Nightstands have 2 drawers with no maker stamp but are vintage.  We did a redesign on the bottom base of the dresser.  Very solid and sturdy with solid wood plinth base and spiraled wood legs.   On the nightstands we added the same wood spiraled legs to the original plinth base.

We stripped, primed, painted, and sealed all pieces.  I painted them in a dark chocolate, then stained the inner drawers behind the cabinets on the dresser along with the top trim of all drawers.  Added fluted antique brass knobs and handles.   Satin sealed everything.

Conditioned the inner and outer drawers with scented furniture oil.   Added some oil to the rails and glides for smooth opening and closing.
