Heather Grey Dresser Missing Drawer Made Into Dresser with Shelves

This dresser we had for quite some time now and didn't list it because it was missing a drawer.  We needed some room, so we decided to work on it.  It is a very nice piece of solid wood.  So we got started on it over the weekend....we took out the top drawer and used it for missing parts on the other drawers.

Completely took off the handles I just couldn't see them on this dresser they where hideous!  Then John repaired the cracks, took out the boards that where not needed, cut some wood for the shelves, sealed up the holes where the handles where, sanded it down....

Then I primed it with multiple times with primer....stained the top with different colors of stains...

customized a color and made a heather grey...

I wanted to show more wood than just on top so I stained the shelves also...

Painted the end of the shelf lip heather grey also so it wouldn't look seperated..

We where looking for some handles to go with it and couldn't find any, then we seen these towel racks,

that was it once we seen those the hunt was over!!!

They look awesome!

I love how the wood parts accent the handles...

Black & Silver Serpent French Dresser Nightstand Set

This was furnished and custom painted for our new buyer Shelly.  She loved my work and picked her pieces from my album, then made an appointment to view them and decide on colors.  She picked black with brushed silver.  

This was alot of work on the dresser, as you can see it was very cosmetically damaged.  John did a FANTASTIC job on the repairs!  He sanded and I primed...then I added mutilple coats of black on all pieces..

The nightstand needed no repair just sanded and primed...

We had to head out and get some handles, because the orginals where gone on most drawers...

I painted them black like the dresser then brushed silver...

This is the drawer that had one of the huge chunks of veneer and wood missing,

can't even tell...

painted the mirror black then brushed silver over the outer popped out parts...

the top looks gorgous so smooth and flat...as all our pieces do :)

Did the same for the nightstand...black with brushed silver...

smooth and flat texture :)

and here it is complete once our work has been finished!

French Provincial Steel Grey Nightstand...

This was another of our furnished and custom pieces we did a this past weekend.  One of our new buyers wanted this in a steel grey blue color.    So I mixed some paints together and customized this color for her and hit it right on we both thought :)  

This is the before...damaged 2nd drawer front...sanded and primed of course...

repaired drawer front...plus she wanted the handles silver..so we did that...

painted with 3 coats of the steel blue paint...

Here is the after ...

It came out very nice :)

Metallic Blue & Blackened Silver French Dresser

This was a custom order for a new buyer, he wanted it in metallic colors.  He found a dresser he liked online and asked me to paint it similar... so he picked this dresser I had gotten in and these two colors:  metallic baby blue and blackened silver.   Then asked where he wanted the colors....so here is the before.... 

we stripped of course and primed...

then painted most of the body and all drawers metallic baby blue...

painted the top, middle dividers between the drawers, and hardware the metallic blackened silver...

also painted the middle curved part metallic blackened silver...

Here is the finished piece!

It is so beautiful!  He was very pleased with it and it matched his room perfectly :)

Black and Gold Media Stand

Kristina is one of our repeat buyers, we have furnished and custom painted a total of 5 pieces for her.  This was her 5th!  Thank you so much Kristina :)  She wanted this black with brushed gold over the popped out parts.   We sanded it down, primed it, and added multiple coats of black paint...

We had to replace the inside bottom shelf it was cardboard, we replaced it with wood and stained it...

remember those scratches on the top, we filled those in .... 

And here it is all done!!!!

I love my pieces once they are done!

 Many people cannot see how beautiful they look

 when they see it unfinished, but once we refinish it (with the right technique of course ) 

they look awesome!  Just look at my before & after album :)

French Nightstands Shabby Chic Style Custom Order

These where furnished and custom painted for one of my new buyers :)  She wanted them to look old but wanted the wood to show up darker like I do my other pieces....so we sanded them down...

Added 3 coats of light blue paint...

distressed I mean alot of distressing...even the back of them...

added new handles....

I love how we distressed in all the right places :)  Not too much and not too little just enough...

They look so shabby chic!

Custom Order Shabby Chic White Thomasville Dresser Set

This was an order for a new buyer who we furnished and painted this for her.  She wanted this set painted in a shabby chic style, but only the edges and the popped out parts to be distressed.  

So we sanded it, primed it twice, and the added 3 coats of white paint...

distressed what needed to be distressed.....

There's not much to say on this the pictures speak for themselves....

Painted the handles dark bronze....

the finish is so awesome....like all my pieces :)

Wood Finish Dresser with Black & Copper

Our previous buyers had bought this furnished and custom painted dresser we did,

then they seen these nightstands we had and wanted us to paint them to match the dresser.

 They had this dresser they found and wanted us to paint it to match the above dresser we did...

this one they found was damaged on bottom so we rebuilt it to make it sturdy and last....stripped the drawers,  and sanded down the shell, primed the shell with 2 coats of primer, and painted the shell with 4 coats of black paint.  Then painted the handles copper!

Antique Dresser Chest Painted Grey & White....

I had this for sale as one of my unfinished pieces and I decided to paint it with my own choice of colors.....it is solid wood throughout.  Very heavy and solid.  The finish on it was so thick.  It took John 2 days to strip it to the bare wood. Must have been 5 layers of lacquer finish on it.  We actually got it like this already, the person looks like they tried to sand it but it was to much.  So we finished it :)  

Primed the drawers with 3 coats of primer and painted 5 coats of off white paint to the drawers.....

polished off the crud from the handles and painted them Gold.....

Even has dividers in the 3rd drawer!

Painted the shell 5 coats of Grey paint....distressed it very little on the edges....

I know I always say this....but I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Custom Order Antique Ivory Dresser

This was a custom order we furnished and painted for a new buyer, she wanted a ivory color.  The mirror needed to be replaced so she didn't want that part.  This needed alot of repair, so we did that and sanded it down to the bare wood and primed it with 3 coats.

The top looks really smooth...John does excellent work on that!

Painted 4 coats of ivory paint to make it ultra durable...

John fixed the right leg here it was thinned out, he made it thicker so it will last along time....he did a awesome job...

I just love it!  Our work is so awesome!  We put quality work into every piece and I think you can tell :)

Custom order for new buyers Pink and Blue desk.....

This was furnished and painted for new buyers, they picked the colors a soft pink and blue.  I added some bigger knobs on top drawers and painted them silver.

After we stripped , primed 3 coats, and painted 4 -5 coats....

It looks so cute!!!

Mid Century Modern Set In Off White...

This was a the other order for Sara who I did the custom order for the golden dresser.  She also wanted this dresser set from us and wanted them painted also.  We decided to go with a more neutral color for her smokey grey walls.  So we chose a off white color.....

John also repaired a broken wood trim on the bottom right drawer as you can see in the picture....

Custom Order Gold Dresser Buffet ....

This was a furnished piece we had that our new buyer Sara wanted.  She wanted us to paint it in a color form Ralph Lauren called Golden Candlesticks from there metallic collection.  I wasn't to sure on it but, it turned out pretty spectacular I think.  We polished up the handles and they turned out very nice.  She also has a couple other pieces she wants from me to be painted also those will be up soon.  I'm still working on them :)

Custom Order For New Buyer Amy

These where the before pictures, we had the mirror replaced, repaired the drawer inside to make it more sturdy.  Sanded it down......

She wanted it painted like one of my previous ones.  She did want the handles painted teal, but they looked so good once we polished them up.  

Then we decided on painting the headboard teal to bring out the teal on the dresser..........

And here they both are!

Grey French Provincial Dresser with Pink Handles

This was a before picture I was sanding it down getting ready to prime it.  My Buddy was looking at me sitting on his bench, yes HIS bench :)  My husband repaired 2 of the dovetail drawers they where missing the back pieces.  

I decided to paint it grey for the shell and I sanded the drawers down but left some cream paint on them, then stained and waxed the drawers.  Then painted the handles pink.

I used some light brown wax to bring out the wood and darken it abit.......

I love the way it came out!

Grey Custom Order Set Dresser Desk Headboard

This was a custom order for one of my repeat buyers, she picked out these that I had, and said she wanted them painted like one of my dressers I had done before.  I actually had to look for a headboard for her and she liked this one I found.  For the dresser I forgot to take pictures of the before...

The desk was painted a black lacquer and needed repair, so we fixed the damaged parts and sanded them all down, primed them...  

And here they are!!!  Grey with black handles :)

Looks super awesome!!!!!

Emerald Green Buffet

This was a old buffet we found and it was a mess.  We sanded it down real good and repaired some parts that where coming undone.  Fixed the inside pull out tray and added some handles I had cause it didn't have any.......so I decided to paint it a color that would really be a piece to bring out any room.......

I also waxed it with some green tinted wax to bring out the color abit more and add some age to it.....

1950's Dresser given a modern look....

This was a custom order, she wanted it to look like one of my previous dresser I painted.....

so we stripped this down, the lacquer on this was so thick.  It took alot of sanding to get it off.   Then I primed it and....

This is super cute, just right for a little girl:)

Off White Dresser Given a Older Look

This was another custom order for a new buyer:)  She wanted this to look old with a off white color.  

This is a before, sealed in all the scuffs.

After......primed and painted:)

Added some dark wax to the creases and the decor in middle drawers and polished up the handles.

Looks gorgeous!

Hot Pink Dresser with Shelf

This was a custom order for one of my new buyers.  She wanted my hot pink color I have used before with silver handles.  This one was missing a drawer, so we added a shelf.

Sealed up the nicks and dents on the sides.....

sanded and primed it.....added the shelf....

Here it is finished!!!

It is gorgeous!!
