A new client who found us online brought us this
mid century bedroom set. They wanted it painted
all white and distressed on edges only.
Then the hardware painted silver. Also needed some repair
on missing worn veneer. Here is the before below...
They took the mirror off so we could paint the base.
Here is the before on the dresser. We repaired
what was needed on the veneer.... stripped it all down...
primed and painted it all white and distressed the edges....
we stripped the hardware and underneath it was
already silver, so we just polished them up....
Next, was the nightstand. Here is the before...
this is after we repaired the veneer,
stripped, primed, and painted it....
distressed the edges and stripped the hardware
to reveal a beautiful silver....
Last, was the headboard set. We stripped it all down..
repaired what was needed on the veneer...
Primed it all....

Gold Dipped Shabby Chic Pink HIghchair......
This is the 3rd piece our repeat client had us custom paint
in her order she put in with us. She had a total of 4 pieces
in her custom painted order. Her 1st order she put in with us
was the yellow bed frame post from last year.
Here is the before of the highchair, she wanted
a shabby chic pink with gold dipped feet and gold detail
on the engraved part of the back head rest of the chair.
I custom mixed annie sloan chalk paint
to get the color she wanted from Ben Moore.

Did the gold detail on the engraved part...
Gold dipped the feet.....
distressed it......
Super cute!!!!
Aged Shabby Chic Pink Buffet.....
Our repeat client had put in a big order. She wanted
us to custom paint 4 pieces of furniture.
The ivory dresser from previous post was one.
This is the 2nd one. It was a buffet.
She wanted a shabby chic aged pink look, with some gold
over the details.
Here is the before....
I used Annie Sloan Chalk paint and custom mixed
colors to get similar color she wanted. It was very hard to get a close color
as the waxes darken the actual color of the chalk paint.
Plus, chalk paint is hard to match latex paint colors exactly.
It was a lot of layering to get this look...
Added gold detail and aged it all....
Added gold to hardware also...
I loved how it came out, worth all the hard work!
Shabby Chic Pink Chest Of Drawers..
We found this antique chest of drawers awhile back in bad shape....
So we repaired it off and on while waiting on
pieces we were working on to dry...
Stripped it down...
.
primed it all...
This is the color I chose, a light soft pink,
called Powder Pink by Benjamin Moore.
A very subtle pink color.
Then painted it all in our professional flat finish.
I left all the cracks and dents on this one, I usually
seal that all up as shown in my
previous posts.
I couldn't take that away with this one as it's
old and wanted to stay with that look.
I distressed the edges...
smooth finish...
Added these beautiful ceramic teal flower knobs
with gold tips....
replaced all the inner bottom drawers...
we also replaced the back boards...
So beautiful!
