Creamy Aged Dresser.....

We had this beautiful triple drawer dresser made by Bassett

for some time in our inventory.  

I had it up as is or can be custom painted.

So, I decided to paint it in my own color design.

Here is the before below.

I painted it in a custom mix color I created out of 

annie sloan chalk paint.  

Our smooth flat finish pictured below.

No brush marks.

Added new hardware to the middle cabinet doors

from our hardware inventory.

Distressed the edges.

Kept the original hardware on the drawers it was 

just to pretty.

Refinished the inside drawers in a driftwood color.

Then sealed everything in a satin finish. 

I love how it came out 💗💗💗

Elegant Clean Look for Soft Gray Dresser.......

I had this triple drawer dresser in my

inventory for some time about a year.

Pulled it out and went to work on it.

Here is the before...I removed the big handles 

and the backplate/knob on the middle cabinet door

Stripped it down to bare wood, nice smooth sanding job

sealed in all the holes from the handles and nail holes

primed it and painted it a soft gray by Ben Moore

called nightingale 

went on a search for the perfect knobs....

antiqued the backplates decor on the top drawers

and cabinet drawer hinges

Looks way better then the before.

An elegant clean look.

French Provincial Dresser Painted Soft Gray....

This was a furnished custom order.....

she contacted me threw my blog and wanted

this one in a soft gray.

The handles she wanted to keep them original.

This is before....

we repaired some scratches and dents...

then we stripped it down...

took off the plastic feet....

then sanded all the drawers down...

then I primed it all...

then I painted it the soft gray....

I just love the hardware on this one....

put on the feet....

the curves are so beautiful!

Finished!  It looks so clean!

She loved it!

Danity Navy Blue French Provincial Dresser with Custom Changing Topper.....

Well, to start off this was a tough one!  I had a customer pick this

piece from my inventory and ask

me to paint it a certain color for her.

So I told her to pick one from benjamin moore

as that is the only paint I like to use.

So she chose blueberry hill which is 

a danity not to dark navy blue color.

She also asked us to make her a changing topper,

as she seen one I had done before for another

customer.

Here is the before above....

we stripped it....

had white paint over factory paint...

built the changing topper to her size she wanted......

stripped the mirror....

then I stained it all....

she wanted it distressed on the edges only....

it was a white blonde wood, that's why I stained it

so when I did distressed it wouldn't look as white....

stained the changing topper also....

then painted it her color she wanted....

she wanted the handles to look old,

so we stripped them....

they turned out awesome!

distressed on edges....

I didn't prime this because of her color she chose,

if I did you would see the primer when I distressed....

since I stripped it though that paint is not 

going anywhere!

Ornate Triple Dresser Creamy White...

Ok, this was a furnished and custom paint order for another new customer.

 She picked this dresser we had in our inventory and wanted  

it painted creamy white to match her daughters

twin beds.

This was the before picture....

We sanded it down.....

Then I primed it...

Then I painted it with the creamy white

she picked out...

We added a new back the other one was no good...

I polished the handles just abit....

wanted to keep some patina...

This is it finished by Piece of Candy Furniture!

Looks beautiful!!!

She loved it :)

Custom Painted French Kent Coffey in a Teal Green with Gold Detail........

This was a custom order for a new customer.  She found

 this french kent coffey and asked 

me to paint it in a teal green with gold detail 

where the gold detail already was.  Basically paint the cream a teal green and 

redo the gold but, keep

the hardware the same.

So we stripped it completely to the bare wood like we do mostly all 

our pieces....

Then primed it....

Then painted it the teal green....

painted the gold detail...

Looks so beautiful !  I thought the gold was going to be

 too much with the teal but,

she wanted it with some glam.  

It looks awesome not too much gold at all !

Just enough :)

French Provincial Highboy & French Triple Dresser Painted Revere Pewter........

This was a custom order for another of our new buyers.  We furnished and custom painted these for her.  She wanted them to match but have different color handles and have the tops a wood finish.  The highboy was for her son and the triple was for her daughter.

Here is the french highboy.  It has a glass top which was never removed so we didn't have to touch that part.

The bottom right foot was clipped off so John repaired that part.  

He did a fantastic job on that!

Here is the triple dresser with a high gloss on it and missing handles so we 

sealed the left and right side drawers up

and added some new holes to fit the

french handles we had.

She wanted high gloss black for the highboy handles...

The top was just shined up to cover any knicks....

We sanded and primed it...

Painted it with numerous coats of revere pewter....

We refinished the top of the triple one......

stained it and added some poly to it......

Stripped this one down, primed it....

She wanted these handles and knobs silver....

Then we painted this one with numerous coats

of revere pewter also...

Here they are both finished!

BEAUTIFUL!

Triple Dixie Dresser Painted White with New Hardware.....

This was furnished and custom painted for another new buyer, she wanted it white but with new hardware.  She wanted it to look good in a office.  So we sanded it down and primed it.  

Added 3 coats of white paint....

These are the handles she picked, Perfect!

Painted the inside also...

It looks perfect for a office now :)

Very beautiful in white!

Custom Order Gold Dresser Buffet ....

This was a furnished piece we had that our new buyer Sara wanted.  She wanted us to paint it in a color form Ralph Lauren called Golden Candlesticks from there metallic collection.  I wasn't to sure on it but, it turned out pretty spectacular I think.  We polished up the handles and they turned out very nice.  She also has a couple other pieces she wants from me to be painted also those will be up soon.  I'm still working on them :)

I just love the detail...

we had to completely strip the top....

sanded it down...

put 2 coats of primer....and 3 coats of paint....added some wax for protection...

It came out just so awesome!
