Mid Century Modern Gray Dresser
We got this mcm dresser in, it was way to damaged
to put up as is. So, we tackled it on right away.
Here is the before....
we stripped it down, repaired all the missing veneer
added legs, then I primed it, and
custom painted it gray.....
polished the brass knobs...
and handles...
and the brass tips of the legs....
our smooth flat finish....
this is why I love latex paint, as long as
you know how to prep it and lay it down,
then add a good protective sealer,
it comes out awesome!
Plus latex has such a variety of colors.....
and durable....
Beautiful and sleek!
Our finish is very durable with normal everyday use.
I've had repeat clients from 3 years ago
say the furniture we custom painted for them looks
as if we just finished it.
Benjamin Moore latex paint is our #1 paint we use.
Cherry Pink Red Buffet...
This was furnished and custom painted for our new buyer Stephanie who we also furnished and custom painted the ornate mirror frame for. She wanted this a red pink color to go with a picture she had in the dining area. So we repaired and sanded it down, I primed it...then applied multiple coats of paint, distressed it slightly, stained all of it.....
Look at this top!
Distressed on edges...she didn't want it to distressed...
Painted the hardware a dark bronze...
the inside got love also :)
Looks very nice :)
Brutalist Teal Brown Dresser By Lane
Found this beauty and was like so in love with it! Found out it was made by a designer that did some work for Lane Furniture in the 1960's or 70's. I can't seem to find if it was designed by Paul Evans or Arron Donner though. I fixed it up repaired the drawers and nicks. Sanded down the outer shell, stained it, then painted it brown, then stained it again. Then waxed it.
Then I painted the drawers teal and distressed abit, then dark waxed them. I think it came out just Outrageous! Truly truly truly outrageous!
