Simply White Dresser Chest Set....
I got these online sometime last year..
Before pictures below...
I removed the old hardware it was hideous and
some where broken/missing.
Forgot to take one of the dresser,
remembered and this is all I could get.
I sanded them down stripped the tops
and primed then painted then
in benjamin moore simply white.
It's a very nice neutral white.
Sealed tops in a darker brown stain.
The stain took the raw wood nicely.
Distressed some.
Added new hardware.
Painted the hardware black.
Sealed everything even the top in
a flat sheen sealer.
Here is the dresser done in the same
paint/sheen/sealer/ to match.
Both made by Dixie.
Chest priced at $290
Dresser priced at $385
These are currently available, message if interested.
You can purchase chest and dresser as a set for $645.
Delivery available for additional $20.
Italian Provincial In Simply White...
New client picked this beautiful italian provincial
dresser from our inventory. She placed her order back in august.
We're always booked so my turnaround time is mostly always
2-4 months. Most of our clients that wait that long
have been looking for that professional smooth finish.
Which is why I guess they wait for us. Others are referrals from
our other clients that have seen our pieces
up close and see our work. We really appreciate all of them too.
She wanted this in a eggshell white to match the crib
and decor in her nursery.
Here is the before below.
After we sealed in all the scratches and dents because she
asked for that when she came to see it before placing her order.
We sanded, primed, and painted it.
Done in simply white by Benjamin Moore.
Shes going to add hardware later when she
finds the perfect set.
We had a hard time trying to get that perfect sheen
to match her nursery decor & crib.
BUT! I tried something new and made it work.
Sealed in a eggshell finish.
She really liked it! Said it matched perfectly. 😅
Matte White Buffet...
Last piece for one of our wonderful clients from
her large order she placed.
In her order was navy dresser, french desk, and this
buffet. Here are the links to those pieces.

For this buffet I had to search for.
Found it but needed lots of repair. Veneer bubbles galore.
She was a fighter all the way thru.
Client wanted a white matte finish.
Here it is after all the repairs, stripping, and priming.
She picked the beautiful simply white by Benjamin Moore.
Sealed in a flat water based sealer.
She loved it which makes us very happy to hear 😍
Mid Century Modern Dresser White Grey....
This was made by the famous designer
Johnson Carper who
designed beautiful mcm furniture.
This one we bought at a auction it was broken
on one leg and severe veneer damage on the front pulls.
Here is the before.
We sealed in all the loose veneer.
Then stripped the whole dresser.
We repaired the leg.
I decided to go with a multi color look.
Primed everything I was going to paint.
Painted the body white and the front drawer
pulls gray.
Then stained the drawers.
Sealed everything in a semi gloss water based sealer.
All done in a NO BRUSH STROKE FINISH.
Looks amazing.

French Provincial Bed, Chest, Nightstand.......
We did this set for one of our amazing repeat clients who has been
coming to us for almost 2 years now.
She picked this french nightstand and full size
bed set from our inventory. She wanted them in all white clean look.
No distressing or aging.
Then wanted us to custom paint her french chest to match the bed set
and nightstand.
Here's the chest below.
Thick paint over existing factory finish.
We stripped it off down to bare wood.
I primed it and then painted it all white.
I used my fav paint Ben Moore in simply white.
She wanted the hardware in a true gold.
Then here is the nightstand from our
inventory that she picked out.
Thick chalk paint and dark wax.
We stripped it all down to bare wood.
Primed it, then painted it in Ben Moore.
Last was this beautiful antique french bed set.
This was one of my fav finds!
Stripped it all down.
Primed it, then painted it.
Whole set all done and beautiful!
All done in time for her move in their newly built home!
White/Gray French Provincial Dresser....
A new client found us online by seeing a dresser I had painted
in my own design up for sale. She lived in Taylor, Tx and was
fixing up a old house in the country. She wanted the painted dresser
I had done, plus this one above. She is using both
dressers we painted in her restrooms as vanities.
Here is the french dresser before. Cosmetic damage here and there.
We stripped it down and sanded it smooth, put it up for sale like
shown. Needless to say it was ready for me to paint. I primed it all.
She wanted a gray top and white body, she also wanted
my opinions on colors and hardware colors.
Basically, she was trying to coordinate it with her
tile she bought for the restroom. It had gray, light gray and white.
I suggested nightengale or kendall gray from Benjamin Moore
and out of the can white or simply white from Benjamin Moore.
Then, on the hardware I suggested iron steel color.
She chose kendall gray for top and simply white for bottom.
Then the iron steel hardware color. She also wanted
slight distress on edges.
She absolutely loved it! I did too, very beautiful.
Here's the other dresser she purchased from us.
This one below was painted in my own design.
French Chest Converted to Dress Up Armoire........
One of our awesome repeat clients, texted me
a picture of a chest converted into a dress up armoire.
I told her I've done one like that before like
3 years ago and showed it to her. (You can view it in
one of my previous post from the year 2013.)
She said we where awesome and asked if we had
any chests in our inventory.
So I showed her 3 I had and she picked this one.
She wanted it Simply White by Ben Moore with
silver handles. Then a wood closet rod to match it.
This is it in one whole picture....
Here is the before...
the feet where chipped off and missing...
John got to work on the building process...
added a wood back since the other was
that thick cardboard...
stripped it all down....
added wood sides and bottom....
repaired the feet and reshaped them...
John does such an awesome job....
can't even tell it was chipped off....
stone hard structure now will not chip off like the wood did....
I primed it then painted it all white....
primed and painted the wood rod and wood holders....
John installed it with the right measurements
so the hangers can be removed without
a problem...
stripped, primed, painted, and sealed the hardware....
our smooth flat thin finish....
It is so super cute! Her little girl is going to love it!
Thank you Brooke for thinking of us!
