Bedroom set painted white, yellow, then some gray......
Two of my past clients Marissa and Ashley referred me to their sister Meagan. We furnished/custom painted a french dresser coral for Marissa last year and furnished/custom painted a french dresser white for Ashley a few weeks ago.
I really love when my clients appreciate our work.
So, Meagan brought us a rocking chair, nightstand, chest, and headboard set. Her grandmother gave these pieces to her and she wanted me to paint them all.
For this rocking chair on the left, this is the before. It will be going in her daughters room. She wanted us to tear off the skirt and paint the whole chair white no distress.
Before sanded it down, as shown on the right, we make sure it all was sturdy and glued all loose parts. Then I primed it all white.
Next, I painted it all white.
She wanted me to paint under the chair all, springs and all. Just to give it more of an industrial look. I love it!
Here is the chest. She wanted this all gray with hardware left original. This will be going in another room.
So, we sanded it all down and I primed it all.
Last, I painted it all gray. She wanted a flat look with no distress.
This is the nightstand, she wanted it an all flat white also.
Just like the rocking chair. She also wanted us to seal in the holes so she can add knobs. This will be going in her daughter's room with the rocking chair.

We sanded it all down and sealed up the hole. Then made new ones for the knobs. Primed it all white.
Then, I painted it all white. We always use Benjamin Moore latex paints. They are fantastic and very durable.
The last is the headboard set. This will also be going in her daughter's room along with the rocking chair and nightstand.
She wanted this bed set in a yellow.
We sanded it all down and repaired some loose parts. Then I primed it all white.

They all came out so beautiful!
She was so happy :)
Pink & Cream Girls Dresser....
I had this one for awhile in my inventory,
so I decided to paint it.
The style looked more feminine, so
I picked some colors
that I thought would bring that out.
Here is the before...
I chose cream primer.....
then a I customized the pink color...
painted the inner drawers,
smooth flat finish...
distressed the edges to bring
out the cream primer...
painted the handles cream also...
Looks so cute and girly!
French Nightstands Custom Painted Butter Cream....
This was furnished and custom painted for our repeat customer. She wanted some
nightstands that where french. She seen I had some back in February of
this year and painted them for someone, loved them and wanted some.
So as I tell all who ask about if I have any pieces they are looking for,
I let them know that I will put them on a waiting list and
if I get any in I will contact that list 1st before I list them
out to the public :)
That's what she did.
So she wanted them stained on top to match a dresser she bought from me that
I painted last year. Painted a Butter Cream.
Then distressed only on edges and handles black.
This was before....a thick latex over factory paint...
we stripped....
then I primed and painted away....distressed...
she wanted a butter cream color....
stained the top 2 different colors.....
then added black wax....
to darken them...and protect them...
this is a thick wax that hardens FAST...
painted the handles black...
Finished! Oh my gosh, they look awesome!
LOVE them!!!!
White Custom Painted Spindle Headboard Footboard Set....
One of our new customers brought
me her full size bed frame she wanted me
to paint white and very lightly distress.
Here is the before, has the wood slats also.
So we sanded it down....
Some parts we got to the bare wood....
primed it with multiple coats....
then I painted it multiple coats
with white paint...
was a lot of twists and turns
to get everywhere....
Went over it multiple times....
then distressed it very lightly in
various areas....
Painted the slats also....
Here it is finally finished!
I love it :)
