Off White Table Chairs Set W/ Sofa Table....
This table set and sofa table was a clients who wanted
me to paint it in Alabaster by Sherwin Williams.
Since my favorite is Benjamin Moore I color matched it.
We stripped it down and it was messy plus took forever.
Sofa table was a dream to sand down.
I forgot to take a photo of the table top stripped.
Almost forgot to take them at all.
Primed and painted them.
Sealed the table top.
Sealed everything else in our high quality wax finish.
Looks beautiful and so much cleaner.
Drexel Heritage Basque French Revamped!
Well I had painted it before like this
and put it up for sale.
Then I had painted some end tables in
annie sloan's old ochre.
I really like the color, sooo
I painted the from drawers that color.
Left the white I had painted previously
on the shell.
Here was the way I painted it before.
I had did a unique wood finish on the drawers....
Here is how it turned out after I painted the drawers old ochre.
I did my flat finish on the chalk paint...
I don't like how thick the chalk paint is
out of the can.
The flat finish I did on the chalk paint worked
it's really smooth and flat!
Made by Drexel Heritage.
We had made a wood cover for the top
middle drawer.
I did my aged finish on the handles...
I just love this look on ornate hardware...
I think I did excellent on aging them!
Looks beautiful both ways, but I like this way better :)
French Style Over Sized Nightstand....
This was a before picture we had of this
over sized nightstand. It is a french style kind.
Has lot of detail, so I decided to bring that out....
sanded all down of course...
I painted the body grey, then
I gilded it with gold on the details....
I aged the whole thing, body and drawers...
I added some gold gilding to the handles too...
painted the drawers a off white and aged them...
distressed all the edges....
This is the after....
I just really love how this turned out!
French Basque White Dresser......
I had this one for awhile up for sale. If none of ya'll know...
I put up my pieces I get in for sale first as is.
I do whatever custom orders I have at that point in time.
Then I'll pull one form my inventory to custom paint
to put up for sale :)
So, this one I wanted to do for awhile.
Here is the before....
we sanded and repaired...
sealed up the hole because those handles
where wide and ugly...
repaired all parts that where chipped off....
I did a technique that I really like on the drawers...
I love all the different colors of wood
and how the stain took it all in it's own colors.....
I really love this technique on the drawers!
kind of like the church pew we did a few years back...
I primed the body of the dresser then painted it a off white....
love our flat finish, not thick at all
and super smooth....
I distressed all the edges on the body of the dresser...
has dividers in the middle left and right drawers...
we built a cover for the hideaway top drawer...
or it can be removed and left like this...
I am really in love with this :)
Custom Painted Victorian Chair and Antique Vanity Desk.....
I have a awesome repeat customer who has
just about furnished most of her home
with Piece Of Candy Furniture that
we custom painted for her.
She had me paint her restroom cabinets for her
also and said she wanted a
dresser custom painted for her sons' room.
That will be posted in a couple of days.
Then she wanted the antique desk she seen in my inventory
and wanted me to paint that for her.
Plus she wanted me to look for a girly chair
to go with it and added some fabric to it.
So this is the chair I found for her she loved it.
So we sanded it down...
then primed it....
then painted it the off white to match her
previous dresser we furnished and custom
painted for her....
added the fabric she picked out...
she also wanted it lightly distressed....
I am like totally in love with this chair!
Next we did the antique dressing vanity desk
here is the before picture....
stripped it down, it had 3 different colors on it!
Primed it....
then painted it with the off white color...
distressed it lightly...
Here they both are finished!
So gorgeous!
