Hale Navy French Dresser Set...
Previous client contacted me this past summer.
My waiting list is always long so
I just got to it last week.
She wanted a six drawer dresser, I showed her
this french I had in a six drawer.
It needed some work one of the
front drawers was off needed french hardware.
Which is why I had it in my fixer upper storage warehouse.
Before below.
Then I found a french nightstand in the same style.
She wanted that one too.
Also wanted a mirror so I showed her what I had
that would work with the size of the dresser.
Here is the dresser after we repaired and stripped it.
Nightstand also.
Then I primed them all.
Pictures below.
She wanted hale navy by Benjamin Moore.
In a semi gloss finish.
I found the some matching french hardware in
my hardware inventory.
Sealed in a semi gloss sealer.
Everything came out fantastic!
Mid Century Chest/Nightstands In Matte Black....
One of our previous clients was flooded in Harvey
and wanted a mid century modern chest of drawers.
Not the ones on legs the flat straight bottom ones.
I didn't have any in my inventory, so I searched for her.
I found this one and she loved it. I also showed her a mcm
nightstand I had in my inventory that would go perfect
with the chest. It had the same design on the bottom.
She said yes on the nightstand also.
Before below.
Both of them needed repairs. Which we did.
We repaired and stripped.
She wanted a matte black finish with silver hardware.
Painted black and sealed in a matte
sealer.
Hardware painted in nickel.
Looks amazing!
Graphite Mid Century Desk, Updated Nightstand...
Client purchased this mcm dresser below from us
that I had painted in my own design and put up for sale.
Then she picked this mcm desk/chair set from
my inventory and wanted me to paint
it in the similar design I had done the dresser.
Before below.
She wanted a nightstand I didn't have one,
so she found one on her own.
Picture of before below.
Desk/chair sanded.
I suggested I paint stain the top drawers
and all of the chair.
Then paint the rest in the annie sloan graphite.
Hardware painted gold.
I showed her some mcm knobs I had in my inventory to
replace the floral hardware on the nightstand.
She loved the idea, so we replaced them.
Looks totally different.
She suggested we stain just the top
drawer and the sides.
I also told her I had some gray velvet fabric we could add
to the chair that matched the color graphite very well.
She was like "Your killing me, your so awesome!!"
All sealed in a water base sealer.
Here they are in her daughters room.
Wow right?!
Love this look!
Spindle Bedroom Set Clean White.....
Another new client contacted me thru my fb page.
She wanted us to paint her furniture that was given
to her by her aunt. She said she wanted
it for her little girls room instead of buying new furniture.
The color she wanted was all white no distress.
It was a dresser, vanity top with mirror, nightstand,
and a bed. Lots of spindles mixed in the whole set except the dresser.
Here is the before of the dresser, vanity, mirror,
and nightstand.
We stripped them down and sanded the rest down.
Then I primed them all.
She also wanted the knobs painted white but
not the brass parts.
Painted them all white with Benjamin Moore paint.
Our drop dead smooth finish.
My pictures speak for themselves.
Painted the knobs after we stripped those.
Painted with Benjamin Moore paint also.
Lots of hard work to get our finish to look like
it does.
We removed the mirror to paint back and front of
the mirror frame. It's more work but looks professionally done.
Here is the dresser with the vanity & mirror.
Without the vanity & mirror.
I love it!
Next, was the spindle full/queen size bed.
Before pictured below.
Stripped & sanded.
Then I primed it all.
Painted all white with Benjamin Moore paint
no distress.
Love it! Much better in all white :)
Black Nightstand, Teal Chest, French Provincial Headboard Set....
We love to custom paint furniture, we love
it so much, that we take pride in our work.
We pay attention to detail and put our best effort into
each piece. It's a lot of work, but we enjoy the finished part.
We really enjoy it when our clients refer us! That they trust
and love our work so much that
they are willing to share our work!
We had a client last year that came to us to paint
them a french provincial dresser. Then a year later,
we got a call from a friend of theirs that wanted
us to do some of their furniture also!
So we did a french provincial bedroom set you can see in
a previous post. Then they asked us to do more furniture...
which you will see below.
This nightstand was all black, but he wanted it
updated to a new black and distressed with
polished handles.
So we stripped it all down...
.
painted it all black....
polished up the handles....
then distressed it in some areas....
just a touch of distress not too much...
our smooth finish....
All done, more clean and updated!
Next, they wanted us to custom paint
this chest in a soft teal with silver handles...
so we sanded the chest down and primed it....
painted it soft teal...
stripped, primed, and painted the handles silver....
our smooth flat finish....
Super Cute!!!
Last, was the french provincial headboard set.
This was actually supposed to go with
the french provincial bedroom
set we had did for them a few months ago.
They forgot to give it to us, so we stripped it down...
primed it and painted it a creamy white...
distressed it slightly....
All done and looking adorable!
Bedroom set painted white, yellow, then some gray......
Two of my past clients Marissa and Ashley referred me to their sister Meagan. We furnished/custom painted a french dresser coral for Marissa last year and furnished/custom painted a french dresser white for Ashley a few weeks ago.
I really love when my clients appreciate our work.
So, Meagan brought us a rocking chair, nightstand, chest, and headboard set. Her grandmother gave these pieces to her and she wanted me to paint them all.
For this rocking chair on the left, this is the before. It will be going in her daughters room. She wanted us to tear off the skirt and paint the whole chair white no distress.
Before sanded it down, as shown on the right, we make sure it all was sturdy and glued all loose parts. Then I primed it all white.
Next, I painted it all white.
She wanted me to paint under the chair all, springs and all. Just to give it more of an industrial look. I love it!
Here is the chest. She wanted this all gray with hardware left original. This will be going in another room.
So, we sanded it all down and I primed it all.
Last, I painted it all gray. She wanted a flat look with no distress.
This is the nightstand, she wanted it an all flat white also.
Just like the rocking chair. She also wanted us to seal in the holes so she can add knobs. This will be going in her daughter's room with the rocking chair.

We sanded it all down and sealed up the hole. Then made new ones for the knobs. Primed it all white.
Then, I painted it all white. We always use Benjamin Moore latex paints. They are fantastic and very durable.
The last is the headboard set. This will also be going in her daughter's room along with the rocking chair and nightstand.
She wanted this bed set in a yellow.
We sanded it all down and repaired some loose parts. Then I primed it all white.
Last, I painted it all yellow.

She was so happy :)
Hollywood Regency White set.....
Hello to whoever is reading this :)
I know I get quite a few visits
to my blog but, all who visit remain nameless.
Which is ok, I don't mind. I know it's good inspiration for everyone.
Well, this was a furnished and custom painted order. A repeat
client came to me and picked these from my inventory. This was for her daughter's room that
was getting revamped.
Here was the before pictures....
I just love this Hollywood Regency Style!
We sanded them down...
Took all apart that could be taken apart....
Primed all of it then painted it all white....
She wanted it distressed on the edges...
She also wanted the hardware painted Lavender...
Painted all the insides...
Here they are completed!
Here they are in their her new home :)
They loved it!
Chalk Painted Queen Anne End Tables Set.......
This was a end table or nightstands set I had for awhile.
It had a piece of wood chipped off as shown in picture.
We repaired it and put it up for sale as is....
but I pulled it off and painted it.
Here they are before. UGLY!
Do not like those 4 set handles either.
It is dovetailed drawers and solid wood at that :)
Made by Lane...
I decided to paint it with some Annie Sloan Chalk Paint...
I used Old Ochre.
I get some customers who ask if
I do chalk paint. So I did this one to show my work in chalk paint.
I primed all of it except the tops...
Then I hand painted it all....
distressed the parts that would naturally age threw time..
darkened the creases on legs and drawers to give a aged look...
Stained the tops and added polycrylic to protect it...
.
I waxed everything else...
Chalk paint is super thick!
I don't like that. So I did my flat finish.
I sealed up all those hole in the drawers,
I didn't like those four handles on each drawer...
Then I added 2 french handles on each drawer.
I did a aged look on the handles...
LOVE My handles I did!!!
Here they are completed!
Way better than before!
French Provincial Steel Grey Nightstand...
This was another of our furnished and custom pieces we did a this past weekend. One of our new buyers wanted this in a steel grey blue color. So I mixed some paints together and customized this color for her and hit it right on we both thought :)
This is the before...damaged 2nd drawer front...sanded and primed of course...
repaired drawer front...plus she wanted the handles silver..so we did that...
painted with 3 coats of the steel blue paint...
Here is the after ...
It came out very nice :)
French Nightstands Shabby Chic Style Custom Order
These where furnished and custom painted for one of my new buyers :) She wanted them to look old but wanted the wood to show up darker like I do my other pieces....so we sanded them down...
Added 3 coats of light blue paint...
distressed I mean alot of distressing...even the back of them...
added new handles....
I love how we distressed in all the right places :) Not too much and not too little just enough...
They look so shabby chic!
Wood Finish Dresser with Black & Copper
Our previous buyers had bought this furnished and custom painted dresser we did,
then they seen these nightstands we had and wanted us to paint them to match the dresser.
They had this dresser they found and wanted us to paint it to match the above dresser we did...
this one they found was damaged on bottom so we rebuilt it to make it sturdy and last....stripped the drawers, and sanded down the shell, primed the shell with 2 coats of primer, and painted the shell with 4 coats of black paint. Then painted the handles copper!
This is the finished piece....
Matching set is so gorgeous!!!
Thanks Veronica and Justine!!!
Teal Green Dresser & Table Drawer
I should have taken a picture of this one, but forgot! Anyways, the top drawer was off of the front so we had to repair that. Then sanded it down and painted it teal green color I made. Painted the handles gold.
To match the handles I decided to paint the sides gold also.
Did the same to this one sanded down then painted a teal green color I made and painted handles gold.
Also painted the sides gold to match! Love them so:)
