Shabby White 1960s 70s End tables set....
I love these old 60s 70s end tables.
Put a high base lamp on them and they'll
totally stand out.
I actually have 3 sets of old 60s 70s
lamp sets in my home. I love them!
Painted them in shabby white distressed look.
I aged the hardware in a gold bronze look.
Super spacious drawers.
If you have a low profile bed these would be
amazing nightstands.
They look so much better than they did in the
before picture.
Available. message if interested.
White Mid Century Modern End Tables....
I had these mid century end tables for sometime
in my inventory. They didn't sell as is or for a custom
paint order, so I decided to paint them in my own design.
Here is the before below.
I decided on all white clean look.
Cleaned the brass tip feet.
They have glass tops which are removeable.
Oh, I'm in love.....
Chalk Painted Queen Anne End Tables Set.......
This was a end table or nightstands set I had for awhile.
It had a piece of wood chipped off as shown in picture.
We repaired it and put it up for sale as is....
but I pulled it off and painted it.
Here they are before. UGLY!
Do not like those 4 set handles either.
It is dovetailed drawers and solid wood at that :)
Made by Lane...
I decided to paint it with some Annie Sloan Chalk Paint...
I used Old Ochre.
I get some customers who ask if
I do chalk paint. So I did this one to show my work in chalk paint.
I primed all of it except the tops...
Then I hand painted it all....
distressed the parts that would naturally age threw time..
darkened the creases on legs and drawers to give a aged look...
Stained the tops and added polycrylic to protect it...
.
I waxed everything else...
Chalk paint is super thick!
I don't like that. So I did my flat finish.
I sealed up all those hole in the drawers,
I didn't like those four handles on each drawer...
Then I added 2 french handles on each drawer.
I did a aged look on the handles...
LOVE My handles I did!!!
Here they are completed!
Way better than before!
End Tables from Blah to.........
Well one of my repeat awesome buyers Jill wanted me to find her some round curvy end table and paint them to match her pillow and lamps in her room......
So we found her some and did just that!
Here they are before...
and after.....
I customized this color to match her pillow and lamps...
she wanted them distressed on edges also and we did that...
painted the hardware dark bronze to match her
dressers I did for her also....
Looks way better than the blah wood color :)
