Antique Claw Foot Desk Painted Coral.......
One of my repeat clients asked me for a desk.
She needed one to use for a changing table in
her downstairs living room.
I didn't have this beautiful antique claw foot listed, because it
needed repair. It didn't have a top, was loose, and peeling veneer.
I showed it to her and she
loved it. It was the perfect size and look she wanted.
she wanted it stained with a mixture of wood color....
so after repairing we sanded it all down....
did our technique of the mixed stained wood...
she wanted a coral color and some knobs, so we decided
on these knobs which are so beautiful...
repaired all the peeling veneer....
love those knobs....
put a top on it and painted it coral...
she wanted a mixture of different wood colors
and
a coral threw out the desk...
She loved it! I think it came out really beautiful!
Coral Dixie Duncan Phyfe Dresser.....
This was a before picture of a
Duncan Phyfe Dixie dresser
we had. It was very damaged on
the drawers and bottom all cosmetic.
So we repaired all of them.
sanded it all down for a smooth finish...
then primed it multiple times...
and painted it with multiple layers of
a coral color...
painted the hardware gold....
our paint finish is very flat and smooth....
I love this color combo!
Coral French Provincial Dresser.....
This one needed some work done.
Here is the before.
one of the drawer bottoms was busted out...
we fully repaired that....
repaired the 2 front feet they where worn down....
sanded it down completely....
primed it of course, then painted it coral....
painted the handles gold....
Fully completed!
Looks real cute :)
Antique Coral Gold Dresser.....
This was a furnished and custom order.
We had a new client who found us online
and
picked this dresser from our inventory.
She wanted it painted coral with gold handles.
She was in love with that combo.
So here it was before....
As you can see in the above pick ,
if not I took a close up.....
one of the drawers was chipped off....
so John started the repair process...
he takes his time so there is
no crater holes...
sanded it down perfectly....
makes it really smooth...
even the top and back parts....
then sanded the whole thing...
then John repaired the side which was split apart form
the dresser...
reinforced the inside as this is an antique....
added another new support for the middle....
then sanded it down completely,
this had to be stripped the original finish was just too thick...
after that we primed it all even the handles....
here is the part that was split, don't even notice it....
John does excellent repair work....
he repairs it to last a lifetime!
I think he repairs it better than when they 1st built it!

after priming it all I painted it coral....
numerous coats of coral....

French Provincial 9 Drawer Dresser Painted Coral....
This was a furnished and custom painted dresser for a new buyer. She wanted a french with curves and painted coral with gold hardware. She also wanted the middles 2nd and third drawer knobs to be handles instead. So we sanded it down and primed it....
painted it with multiple coats of coral.....
painted the handles and knobs gold....
sealed up the hole to make holes for the handles....
I had extra french handles to make this work thank goodness...
Here it is completed I even repainted the decor on bottom : )

Coral and Gold French Provincial Highboy Dresser Chest.......
This was a furnished and custom painted french provinical chest
for another one of our new buyers.
She wanted it a coral color with gold accents threwout.
So we repaired some dings and dents...sanded it dowm,
primed it...replaced a broken handle..
I painted the whole thing coral (multiple coats of course)
brushed gold around the curved part shown here...
then I brushed gold on the feet, crown decor on bottom...
Then painted gold on top curves...
painted gold on the middle rounded parts...
and hardware...
Here is the finished french chest...
will look gorgous in her nursery!
