Waterfall Art Deco Chest Refinished....
Client sold us this beautiful art deco
chest to bring down her balance on a
custom painted order she purchased from us.
Here is the before.
I didn't have the heart to paint over
the beautiful drawers. That veneer pattern
was too beautiful. So I stripped everything.
Painted the outside shell in mannequin cream
by benjamin moore.
Waxed the hardware in a bronze gold.
Stained the drawers in a custom mix I made.
Then stained the long wood hardware in
a dark brown stain.
Sealed the drawers in a semi gloss sheen.
Wax sealed the body paint was in a semi gloss
sheen.

Priced at $330, delivery available for an
additional $20.
French Provincial Armiore, Dresser, Nightstand Set.....
New client contacted us, picked these out of our inventory.
The french armiore, dresser, and nightstands set.
I didn't have the dresser or nightstands set listed
yet. She resides in Austin, Tx and couldn't
make it out to view what I didn't have listed.
I took some pictures of what she described to me that she
was searching for.
She for sure wanted this armiore.
I had two and both have sold already.
Here is the nightstands.
Then the dresser.
We stripped everything down.
After I primed everything, she picked the color butter cream.
It's a restoration hardware paint.
She wanted a distressed edges look with
dark bronze hardware.
My smooth flat finish is really outstanding.
She loved everything! It looks amazing
doesn't it?
Ivory Nightstand Distressed...
New client purchased a ivory dresser from me
that I painted and put up for sale. She found this large nightstand to
match the same look/design and wanted me to
paint it to match the dresser.
Before..
Sanded.
Primed.
Painted in Butter Cream from Restoration Hardware Paint.
Hardware painted in rubbed bronze.
Distressed edges.
Here it is all finished. Same color just different lighting
when picture was taken.
Love it!
Butter Cream Dresser....
This particular one I painted in my own color & design.
I forgot to take a before but you can visualize it.
We sanded it down not to complete bare wood except for
the top. Then I primed and painted it.
We did have to repair some wood slides.
Painted in restoration hardware paint color
butter cream.
Distressed edges and painted hardware
in oil rubbed bronze.
Our beautiful smooth flat no brush stroke thin
finish.
This was sold the next day after I listed it.
She loved our work so much she had me do a mirror to match.
Last week she brought me a nightstand she wants me to
paint to match the dresser. Hopefully I can get to that soon.
We're extremely busy with lots of clients painted orders.
That's why I got backed up on my posts. Listed I
think 5 today.

legs.
Sanded it all down.
Chipped foot repaired.

Stained body in ebony and waxed in a
high quality black wax.
Painted handles in glossy black.

Beautiful and she loved it!
All the other pieces we did for her.
This one was painted just like the one we just finished for her.
She wanted them to match.
Restoration Hardware French Twin Bed.....
One of our wonderful repeat clients from 2014 came
back to us and picked this french provincial twin bed
out of our inventory. She wanted it to match her previous pieces
she purchased from us and had us custom paint them in
restoration hardware colors and designs.
They where all done at different times. She is very patient
and waits for the perfect pieces we get in that she likes.
Here is the before of the twin bed.
We stripped it down and she wanted us to remove all the spindles
to make it more modern and unisex for her little boy.
Next we primed it.
Then I painted it the color she wanted which was
a restoration hardware paint.
Did the detail in a restoration hardware paint also.
I didn't have to be perfect on the detail either!
The design is meant to look imperfect.
Distressed certain areas to show some wood and some primer.
Looks fantastic without the spindles!
Here are all the pieces below we have furnished and custom painted
for her. All in the same style and all french.
We custom made the french chest it was actually a
highboy. We then made her the baby changing table and
made it removeable with hinges. You can
search my blog for that post under "Restoration Hardware".
Restoration Hardware Part 2....
This was for a repeat client who we had
furnished and painted a dresser for last year.
You can search my post for that one.
Just type restoration hardware in the search box.
Anyways, she had asked whenever I come across
a nightstand in the same style
to let her know. So, I got one in a year later.
Contacted her and she said she wanted it.
She asked for us to paint it exactly like the
dresser we had done for her.
Here is the before...
damaged on side...
Here is the dresser we did for her last year...
So I went to work and here it is after I
finished...
This was the damaged side, can't even tell!
How awesome is John?

His repairs are Fantastic!
My paint job isn't to shabby either!
Here it fully completed :)
All she needs is the knobs....

French Nightstands Custom Painted Butter Cream....
This was furnished and custom painted for our repeat customer. She wanted some
nightstands that where french. She seen I had some back in February of
this year and painted them for someone, loved them and wanted some.
So as I tell all who ask about if I have any pieces they are looking for,
I let them know that I will put them on a waiting list and
if I get any in I will contact that list 1st before I list them
out to the public :)
That's what she did.
So she wanted them stained on top to match a dresser she bought from me that
I painted last year. Painted a Butter Cream.
Then distressed only on edges and handles black.
This was before....a thick latex over factory paint...
we stripped....
then I primed and painted away....distressed...
she wanted a butter cream color....
stained the top 2 different colors.....
then added black wax....
to darken them...and protect them...
this is a thick wax that hardens FAST...
painted the handles black...
Finished! Oh my gosh, they look awesome!
LOVE them!!!!
