Italian Provincial Dresser Updated...

Had this in my inventory for sale as is
for about 7 months.  It didn't sell so I pulled
it and did my own design on it.
I love doing my own designs.  Less stressful than
customer orders.  I can take my time and there is no rush.

Here is the before above.
Hardware was outdated.

I picked behr black bamboo for the color.
It's a beautiful soft medium green with less yellow in it.
More gray in it I think.  I love it!

I purchased new modern hardware in polished gold.

Took those single drop pulls off the middle
cabinet drawers too.
I added handles which I think looks much better.

Sealed in a sprayed flat finish.

Black Vintage Dresser Redesigned....

Redesigned this very solid well made
Henredon dresser.
Before below.
Was missing a few bails from the hardware.
I didn’t like it anyway.

Painted it black then distressed edges.
Minimal distress though not too much.

Added feet, these feet where $10 each.

Added new black hardware which where $6.48 each.
Had to reposition the hardware as the new ones
where longer.  Plus I wanted the hardware
centered.

Sealed in water based flat sealer.

Available!
Message if interested.
Delivery 1st floor only available for
an additional $40.

Updated Vintage Dresser in Navy...

Totally vintage dresser probably from the 80s.
The hardware I didn't care for, amazing because
usually the hardware is missing.  I just think
this dresser needed updating, so the hardware had to go.
Here is the before below.

Top was very worn.  Here is what I used to update it.
I wanted to add some feet to lift it.
Then new hardware.  I picked a beautiful navy color
and used the Behr chalk paint.
I've used this chalk paint before and love it.

Took off all the hardware, it was alot....
12 total.

I had to seal in the old hardware holes, then add the feet
with some reinforcement wood.

Took about 2 hours to put all those new handles on.

Sealed the chalk paint in General Finishes High Performance Flat.
Which is a matte sealer.

Feet went really well with the design of this.

This dresser is 100% solid wood, not pressed wood too.
Heavy thick wood too.
